The past 3 weeks have been the best days of my life.  It’s so difficult to even fathom what can top it.  I reckon nothing can. Getting married itself is a life experience and I will cherish it for the rest of my life.  But to get married and have the Winter Olympics in my hometown simultaneously? That is what dreams are made of. Many have said we were crazy for having our wedding here in Vancouver during the Olympics. I say, ‘Why not?’  To have everyone in the city partying with you at the same time? That’s awesome isn’t it!?

What a day! Tami and I forgot to thank Mother Nature for blessing us with such great weather on our wedding day. I am officially married.  It’s a great feeling to be part of something bigger. This photo was taken by our fabulous photographer, Michèle M. Waite. More photos to come…

9 days and counting! Tami and I received our wedding favors several weeks ago, all 10 pounds of it! M&M’s anyone!!??

It’s a really good thing I’m a huge Olympic fan, or else I’d be quite buggered!! To have to go to City Hall to get a pass to park in front of your own home? On your own Wedding Day?? A WTF moment for sure.

The festivities are finally over.  After 3 weeks straight of partying, I have finally wore out my welcome…the boys do not want anything to do with me for at least a week…ha…Thanks guys for giving me such an extended sendoff, really great of you guys.  I sent this photo to Tami during my last stag night…yes this is tame, but you surely wouldn’t want to see the other getup(s) I had to put on in Vegas.
