The past 3 weeks have been the best days of my life.  It’s so difficult to even fathom what can top it.  I reckon nothing can. Getting married itself is a life experience and I will cherish it for the rest of my life.  But to get married and have the Winter Olympics in my hometown simultaneously? That is what dreams are made of. Many have said we were crazy for having our wedding here in Vancouver during the Olympics. I say, ‘Why not?’  To have everyone in the city partying with you at the same time? That’s awesome isn’t it!?

A full day today.  Tami and I woke up bright and early for some snorkeling, and whale watching.  We ended up swimming with turtles off the coast of Maui and saw a bunch of humpback whales! Here’s a pic of a baby humpback breaching the water…turtle pics coming soon.
