So I’m working at home today and thought I’d take a break and figure out how to jailbreak my iPhone 3G so I can tether with my iPad. I downloaded RedSnOw and have been following the instructions on youtube…so far so good…more to come.

12:20pm: Success! I can now tether with my iPhone. Thanks Shelb for pointing me to the right direction.
Note: Don’t where your polarized sunglasses while using the iPad…you won’t be able to see the screen. I rebooted my iPad twice because I didn’t see anything, thinking it froze on me…then I took my RayBan’s off…[idiot]

The unveiling of my iPad! As expected, the tablet is as simple as it looks…easy to use, slick, clean. Unfortunately, because I live in Canada, I’m unable to access the Apps Store to download the latest iPad Apps. I could go ahead and open up a US iTunes account to access everything, but that means wiping everything off my iPad later when I want to go back to my original account. Overall impressions thus far…love it! Is there an actual need for this gadget? Probably not. But whenever Apple creates something new, “I want to go to there” – Liz Lemon ’30 Rock’.
I purchased a Canon Rebel T2i last month and have been having a great time shooting HD video. This is a test shot I posted up on Youtube of the Olympic Torch I bought. I’m pretty impressed with the video quality…I highly recommend this model!

I am a proud owner of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Torch. Well, 1 of 12,000 produced for the Torch Relay. This is a piece of art designed by engineers at Bombardier. This officially makes me a complete Olympic freak!
