Four years and 5 months. Today I said good-bye to my friends at SAP, formerly Business Objects. It was sad to leave the people but it was time to move on to new challenges. I thanked the people I needed to thank, walked around the office one last time, took a pic of my now empty desk…chapter closed.
It’s been a busy month to say the least. But one accomplishment that stood out above the rest was the baby crib assembly. I’m not much of a reader, especially when it comes to instruction manuals. Actually I’m just not a good follower of instructions. As a visual person, I usually leave the tedious task of reading to my wife. But since my wife is studying for her law exams, this crib thing was all on me. After many minutes of cursing and a bit of feeling sorry for myself, I was able to put this sucker together…you better appreciate it Boy. Sleep well.
I went to nood today to pick up the replica Eames Lounger I ordered last week and encountered this! The nood employee quickly apologized and ordered me a new one, but after seeing this…did I really want one? Well, it didn’t detour me too much, several hours later, I picked up a brand new one from their warehouse =b. Note to self, don’t put my forearm on the armrest.
